Data handling
Client information stays governed.
- Work inside client-owned systems and repositories wherever practical
- Access limited to what the engagement requires, and removed at closeout
- No intentional offshore processing of client information by NSS
- Every processor or tool that touches client information is disclosed in advance
- Retention and deletion terms agreed in writing for each engagement
- Client information is never reused for other clients or published without permission
NSS does not make blanket data-residency claims. Where residency matters, it is documented for each engagement against the actual systems and providers involved.
Responsible AI
Practical AI, with a person accountable.
- AI is used on client material only with the client's written approval and within its policies
- A named person reviews and owns every AI-assisted output before it is relied on
- Approval boundaries and escalation are defined before automation acts on anything
- Sources and evidence stay traceable, so conclusions can be audited
- AI is applied where it produces measurable operational benefit—not as theater
Procurement
Documentation and onboarding.
